Crossing Automation Announces New Vice President and General Manager of Asia Pacific Operations
Fremont, Calif. - August 18, 2010 - Crossing Automation, Inc. (www.crossinginc.com), a leading supplier of efficient, cost-effective front-end and back-end automation solutions and engineering services to high volume semiconductor equipment manufacturers, today announced the addition of Gerald Li as vice president (VP) and general manager of Asia Pacific Operations. This role covers Taiwan, China, Singapore, Malaysia and Korea. His responsibilities include sales, customer satisfaction, finance and human resources for these regions in semiconductor and emerging markets.

Crossing Automation Receives First Order for ExpressConnect™ Integrated Atmospheric and Vacuum Wafer-level Automation System
Fremont, Calif. - July 13, 2010-Crossing Automation, Inc. (www.crossinginc.com), a leading supplier of efficient, cost-effective front-end and back-end automation solutions and engineering services to high volume semiconductor equipment manufacturers, today announced that it has received an order for its ExpressConnect™ integrated automation platform. The system includes Crossing's Spartan™ equipment front end module (EFEM), Shuttle-Lock™, Load-Lock, SEC controller and AltaStream's integration software. ExpressConnect™ will be implemented in the original equipment manufacturer's (OEM's) process tool targeting the 22 nm node. The win displaces the customer's current automation platform vendor and the system is scheduled to ship in September 2010.

Crossing Automation Introduces Enhanced Spartan EFEM; System Offers Production-Qualified 450 Wafers Per Hour Throughput
Fremont, Calif.- March 16, 2010 - Crossing Automation, Inc. (www.crossinginc.com), a leading supplier of efficient, cost-effective front-end and back-end automation solutions and engineering services to high volume semiconductor equipment manufacturers, today announced that it has improved its Spartan™ equipment front end module (EFEM) performance, enabling it to achieve 450 wafers per hour (wph) throughput. The improved design was undertaken to address the requirements of high throughput semiconductor manufacturing processes such as strip/ash, clean and ion implant. The improved Spartan EFEM enables 100 percent process tool utilization due to its patented wafer engine atmospheric robot which offers the fastest available wafer exchange time of less than 2.5 seconds.

Crossing Automation Sees Strong Growth in Front-End Automation Business; Unveils Plan to Bring End-to-End Vacuum and Atmospheric Wafer-Level Automation Offering

Crossing added the front-end atmospheric component to its business through the acquisition of Asyst Technologies' atmospheric assets in September, 2009.
